About the league

Accessible competition, closer to home

California Club Soccer League is a youth soccer league being developed to provide affordable, organized competition for teams across Southern California.

Our focus

Mission

To give youth teams of different levels and affiliations organized, affordable competition with regional matchups.

The league is built on a simple idea: a team’s season should be about playing meaningful matches, not about long drives and complicated logistics. By organizing divisions around geography, we aim to make league play practical for the programs that join.

What we’re building

  • Age-group divisions from U8 through U18
  • Regional divisions across three Southern California regions
  • League standings
  • Two planned seasons each year — Spring and Fall

We’re currently promoting the Spring 2027 season.

Who can participate

Open to teams of different backgrounds

Club teams

Established youth soccer clubs looking for an additional or alternative competition option for their teams.

Independent teams

Teams that aren’t attached to a larger club, and want an organized league to play in.

Academies

Soccer academies that want local, structured matchups for their players.

The regional model

How regions work

Teams are grouped into regions so that most matches can be played relatively close to home. Within each region, divisions are formed by age group and, where applicable, boys’ and girls’ play.

Regions are starting points for recruitment, not a promise that every team will play every other team in its region. Scheduling will prioritize competition level and local games, along with reasonable travel and viable age-group divisions, and final boundaries depend on registrations.
